Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), the flagship school of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), imparts globalized education with a view to producing world-class professionals, scholars, and academics in law. Globalization has opened various opportunities and challenges which have created the need for competent academics, scholars and professionals. The vision of JGLS is to fulfill this need by equipping their students and empowering their faculty with the knowledge, skills, scholarship and vision to meet these challenges and demands of globalization.

To achieve the vision of providing globalized education in India, JGLS has recruited the best faculty from across the globe. Ten Research Centres have been established to interject on cutting edge issues of globalized law and policy ranging from women’s rights to international trade.  JGLS has entered into collaborations, exchange programmes, research partnerships and other forms of engagement and interaction with elite universities and institutions across the globe.

JGLS is committed to providing world-class legal education to a diverse and talented body of students, who joined the University in September 2009. At JGLS they are given international exposure and access to a literal world of intellectual thought. Beginning summer 2010, students will intern with leading global law firms, lawyers, judges and NGOs. With elite education bolstered by privileged job experiences, students graduating from the JGLS will have excellent job opportunities in diverse fields, both in India and abroad.
